TELE-ONCOLOGY CLINIC
Tele-oncology Clinic is defined as delivery of clinical oncology services from a distance for diagnosis, treatment, and patient follow-up using information and communication technology. Quality cancer care is often unavailable in low- and middle-income countries but also in remote areas of high-income countries. To reach its full transformational potential, it is in these areas where this technology is most needed. Areas where tele-oncology has been most successfully applied are surgery, radiology, and pathology. Best practices must be identified for each local setting.
